The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification is designed to develop accounting professionals with the technical knowledge, practical skills and strategic insight needed in modern finance roles. It is recognised for its rigorous standards in financial reporting, audit, taxation, and ethics.
The qualification will prepare you for a wide range of roles in finance, the accounts profession and business, from auditor, partner in practice to CFO. Its qualification structure combines technical depth with strategic thinking and ethical leadership. It consists of three academic levels, followed by professional requirements, and typically takes three to four years to complete, depending on prior qualifications and study pace.
Practical Experience Requirement
In addition to passing the exams ACCA requires a minimum of 36 months of relevant, verified work experience.
