A career in finance and accountancy could start with an Apprenticeship

We believe Apprenticeships are the ideal way to develop your skills and gain a qualification through work-based learning. They are a valuable route into the accounting profession, designed for ambitious individuals who want to gain real-world experience while studying toward professional qualifications. With HTFT’s expert support, apprentices learn from industry leaders, earn while they learn, and build a strong foundation for a successful career.

Important changes to level 7 funding

Effective January 2026, government funding for new Level 7 apprenticeships will be restricted to learners who are aged 21 or under at the commencement of their programme. This change forms part of the government’s broader strategy to rebalance the apprenticeship and skills system, with a renewed focus on directing funding towards programmes that support individuals who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).
