Information sent from ACCA:
As part of our commitment to continuous innovation, we’ve introduced several exciting changes and technological advancements to the ACCA Qualification. These updates ensure our students are prepared for the evolving workplace, much like those pursuing CIMA Courses or working towards a CIMA Qualification. Similarly, individuals with an AAT qualification can build upon their foundational skills to progress seamlessly into higher-level accounting studies and professional roles.
- From March 2020, paper exams will start to be replaced with computer-based exams (CBEs) for Strategic Professional, extending our digital offering. Strategic Professional CBEs will be introduced through a phased approach.
- We’ve launched a CBE practice platform to help students prepare for Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams. We’ll provide exam standard content on the platform to enable students to become completely familiar with the live exam environment. Students can access the content on demand and will be able to save and mark responses, as well as track their progress.
- ACCA Careers, the global employability site for accountancy and finance professionals, has been further enhanced to provide even more opportunities to find great roles and internships around the world.
In order to support these innovations, our exam fees will be increasing as of the September 2020 exam session, which opens for entry on 11 February. This adjustment ensures we continue delivering a world-class Accounting qualification that meets industry standards. Students enrolled in AAT accounting courses can still take advantage of the early entry discount, and prices for on-demand CBE exams will also change from 1 April.
