Starting 1 September 2026, all new Level 4 registrations transition to the new Professional Accounting Technician (PAT) syllabus. Unlike previous updates, this revision specifically targets Level 4.

Key changes include:

• Mandatory Units: Students must complete five compulsory units: FNAC, MNAC, ATIC, PTAX, and the new Advanced Business Awareness (AVBA). There are no optional units.

• Assessment: All exams move to 100% computer-marked formats for faster results.

• Timeline: FNAC and MNAC launch in September 2026, followed by ATIC and AVBA in October. PTAX arrives in January 2027 to align with Finance Act updates.
