AAT – AQ2016
Let us support you through the transition from AQ2016 to the new Q2022 syllabus

The introduction of the new AAT Q2022 syllabus will begin a transition period for students on the AQ2016 syllabus, with AQ2016 exams able to be sat up to the 30th September 2023.
At HTFT Partnership we want to support you through your transition, so we have set out below our transitional guidance (Level by Level) along with links to our AAT AQ2016 provision.
You must have passed one exam under AQ2016 to be eligible to transfer.
The table below provides guidance on what you can transfer from AQ2016 to Q2022.
If you have completed Level 2 and haven’t yet progressed onto Level 3, we recommend waiting till the 1st September and transferring over to Q2022.
If you are part way through Level 2, determine whether you will be able complete it by the 30th September 2023. If you feel you can, we would recommend to stick with AQ2016.
If you feel it’s unlikely or there is a risk that you will not be able to complete Level 2 we advise you complete the AAT Transitional arrangements tool and understand what modules will transfer over and which modules wont before making a decision.
