CIMA have announced that as of the 1st August 2019 they are changing their exam fees.
Here is the new price list: CIMA Exam Fees – 1st August 2019
There are a couple of reasons CIMA is doing this:
We invest continuously to ensure that our CIMA Courses deliver an exceptional exam experience, up-to-date syllabus, and globally recognised CIMA Qualification. The fee increase supports our commitment to developing and leading a world-class programme that remains relevant in today’s evolving business environment.
The exam is the start of a career journey, and pricing reflects more than just the cost of administering the exam itself. The work we do to support AAT accounting courses also subsidises research and investment in resources beyond the exam, such as the job board and the research and development of CPD.
Support is available for transition arrangements to ensure a seamless experience for students who began studying under the 2015 syllabus and are moving to the 2019 syllabus, helping them complete their AAT qualification without disruption.
To allow us to invest in the future of the qualification, its development and its promotion to employers and students
The price still remains accessible and competitive – in line with other comparable accounting qualifications and much cheaper than higher education and MBA programmes that cover similar materials in their courses
