ACCA Pass Guarantee and Deferral
ACCA students - Pass Guarantee
Our Pass Guarantee comes with both live and on-demand bookings and if maintained allows full course participation into either of the next two exam windows at the choice of the student (under advice from HTFT Partnership).
To maintain your ACCA Pass guarantee with HTFT Partnership, the following criteria must be complied with:
HTFT Applied Skills Papers (PM, TX, AA, FR, FM):
- All HTFT Computer Based Assessments must be attempted on the timetabled date.
- Checkpoints: students must achieve a score of 50% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, not timed)
- Midpoint mock: students must achieve a score of 50% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, not timed)
- Proficiency 1: students must achieve a score of 40% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, timed)
- Proficiency 2: students must achieve a score of 40% or above, with all requirements attempted (exam conditions – closed book, to time)
- A redo is available at the discretion of HTFT if you fail to deliver the required standard. Your pass guarantee will be maintained if you redo the Checkpoint, Midpoint mock or Proficiency and achieve a pass on the redo.
HTFT Strategic Professional Papers (SBL, SBR, AFM, APM, ATX, AAA):
- All HTFT Computer Based Assessments must be attempted on the timetabled date.
- Checkpoints 1 - 5: students must achieve a score of 50% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, not timed)
- Midpoint mock: students must achieve a score of 50% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, not timed)
- Checkpoints 6 – 8: students must achieve a score of 50% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, timed)
- Proficiency 1: students must achieve a score of 40% or above, with all requirements attempted (open book, timed)
- Proficiency 2: students must achieve a score of 40% or above, with all requirements attempted (exam conditions – closed book, to time)

Other requirements (for all papers):
- You must attempt your real ACCA exam in the agreed exam window.
- For CBE’s you will need to book the exam by the date advised by HTFT on the timetable.
- Paying in full for the entire course before the exam is sat.
ACCA students - Deferral
If you book a course with HTFT you can choose to defer your exam to a later exam window, if you let us know by the Midpoint mock deadline and pay a deferral fee of £50.
Should a deferral occur over a syllabus upgrade (resulting in new published books) the student will be required to provide their own new approved study text, exam kit and pocket notes.
